In Aussy land I had cataract surgery maybe 8 years ago. Right eye that had torn a retina, which they said made me a 'monty' for a cataract, which it did.

Cataract surgery was huge success, and now the left eye has a minor cataract, but at 75 yrs old, it will be a race to see whether I need it 'done' before I depart this life!

Night driving no problem! I wear glasses [multifocal lenses] as my eyes are now quite different focal whatevers!
