When I had cataract surgery on one eye they installed a lens that works similar to my original or sort of like lasik. But then as I mentioned I had trouble at night. My local ophthalmologist said just wait but after 6 months I quit waiting.
A family friend said what you have "is referred to as Posterior Capsular Opacity (PCO). After cataract surgery the posterior capsule is left in tact & polished clean. After time an opacity may develop & cloud vision.. a laser can open that so the light can once again get through to restore vision. "
That's when I went back to FOX eye in Cedar Rapids and had the procedure which I don't think took 5 minutes. After that no more problems.
