I'm guessing the manure in the second stage doesn't have much K in it. You want that red/pink water in the second stage. I would spread that water all over my land if I had access to it. It is loaded with photosynthetic purple non sulfur bacteria that will have significant positive impacts on your farming operation that include, but are not limited to:

-soil remediation
-nitrogen fixation
-carbon fixation
-increased photosynthetic efficiency
-increased crop yields
-removal of organic acids (black water)
-sulfur sequestration
-increased germination rates
-residue decomposition
-increased drought and salt tolerance
etc.

We are currently using purple non sulfur bacteria in a couple of our ag products and they definitely make a positive impact on crop production. I call them God's little miracles. You can even make batteries out of them. They produce a lot of hydrogen. If you want to conduct your own research, the two main Genus are Rhodobacter and Rhodopseudomonas. Good luck!
