EC Nebraska | Every set up will be a little different, but there are fields here that have been severely impaired by lagoon water. We have naturally high potassium soils anyway, and too much K is a problem. A neighbor's field has a contract for hog water though the pivot, and the farmer can't say no to it. It turns out that crops don't do so well in 1,500 ppm K.
It probably isn't a concern out east where their soils won't hold K anyway, but it's a potential issue in South Dakota. Depends on your specific soils.
