Pittsburg, Kansas | Looks like they use raisin juice to add the sugar. It is fairly late on the list though. The proof will be how many grams of sugar there are in a serving and what size the serving is.
Really tough, unless you make it yourself, to find jerky without without some form of sugar. I kind of make the cutoff is they say zero grams of sugar per serving, then assume that really means .9 grams because food mfg's are allowed to round down. Then just don't get carried away with the number of servings. If 0 really means .9 and a person downs the bag of ten servings, he just had 9 grams of sugar.
Why am I so picky about sugar (or the fructose in it)? Not to mention the insulin response.
