"Afterall, that is how business is done in everyother industry"

Is it really?

Let's say I run a small machine shop that supplies parts to, oh, I dunno, a manufacturing company. Somebody comes in and beats my bid and gets the job. Well, I still have the physical plant and can go out and bid other jobs. In ag, to get more ground, you are taking somebody else's physical plant, not just outbidding them on the job. Or think about the video store on the corner. Right now if you have a video store, and somebody else thinks there's more market, then they can build a video store and you compete. The equivalent to Ag, would be that if the other person went to your Franchisee, and offered them a better deal for the Franchise, and you got kicked out on the curb. I don't know of any other industry quite like Ag.

Also remember, that this would be the same Top Producer that ran a set of articles on how to put your neighbors out of business and then hire them on, cause that was so much better for everybody. Yes, I question their ethics.
