| Had surgery Feb 13 2020 the first week was rough. Like some said here its a long recovery. How well you recover is dependent on how well you listen to the doctor. Right now until I go back I not supposed to lift over 10 pounds. The first week has been rough but I've turn the corner and am doing better. A fusion is a six month healing process minium. I am overweight 6'1 280# if you think your over weight start now lose some weight it will make all the difference in the world I wish I would have. Joe
