Subject: buy the lard

Pittsburg, Kansas
You already have good answers. I will just add that lard is cheap. Buy it and add the bacon grease to things that are not fatty enough. Strip steak, soups, lean hamburger, wilted salad, over green vegetables, etc. Once you start thinking of things that are lean that you can add fat to, you will no longer have an exess.

Wife complains she does not have enough because most of the modern bacon is too lean.
