| I just recently replaced my hard drive with a solid-state drive. So I had to create an exact clone of my old hard drive and transfer it to the new one. Here's how I did it.
I bought my new, blank sold-state drive and a USB enclosure (like this one). The USB enclosure allows me to attach my new hard drive to the computer using USB.
With the old hard drive in my computer and the new (blank) drive plugged in with USB, I used "MiniTool Partition Wizard" to clone an exact copy of the old hard drive to the new one (even the settings and operating system).
Hopefully that helps. |
