| need a firewall where you can kill the connections and it auto looks up the ips and a anti virus program that automaticaly looks up the processes.
almost all software wants to connect to the net and so if you can kill these connections it frees up x but be careful some are needed and some viruses are inter twined thats why you want it sent off and they tell you on the spot aka still ways around this but atleast it slims down the chance.
so a good firewall and virus protect solve 90% of your prob but wich one aka need to ask around but reread what was typed.
i do not do biz on the same provider that i surf with aka way to many ways around routers and firewalls etc.
most say thats crazy but the big boys don't spend big bucks for nothing.
you can take it and get it cleaned and in less than 15 min it will be back the same if someone is knocking on your door aka thats why they hide the doors but that email and the list is wide and long of holes.
