Subject: Re: Chopping Corn Heads

Sheldon, ND
We went the route of not chopping. We always had to chop in front of the DMI Ripper. Now we got rid of the chopper and got a Krause Dominator. Goes right though standing corn stalks from JD corn head without knife rolls. It sizes the stalks about 8" long. I think their website is www.krauseco.com Very good support too. I don't know how many updates they have done to ours since we bought it last summer.
