We all know that bin controllers are expensive. I think a guy with just a bit of tech savvy could home-brew his own.

...which you would wire up to a relay switch to power the fans on and off.

This stroke of brilliance just came to me, have not spent a lot of time trying to poke holes into my own idea, but thought I'd throw it out here now before I forget it and I have a lot of crap to do today.
