Its a VERY expensive crop to establish and tend to . Was once told a big freeze several years ago wiped out a lot of groves in the Orlando area and they were never reestablished. Saw a few groves around Avon Park that had been abandonded too. Man I love those tree ripened Florida Navels. The Hamblins we got last week can in no way compare.
