South Central MN | Yeah, I am concerned about having only 1 copy on site. Supposed to be getting fiber going thru soon and then I'll get another set up offsite. In the meantime I backup the archive drive to a portable hard drive once a month or so and store it in a fireproof safe. That's good enough until my internet gets better.
I just wanted to give people ideas as to what is out there. I never realized how "not backed up" using a portable hardrive as my sole backup really is. Setting up the synology disk stations to be secure 2as far more technically demanding that I expected, but the capabilities they provide are pretty cool too. | |
