southern MN | In this ecconomy, you have summed up the whole deal. Until inflation hits, there is an incentive to store money, as things & stuff get cheaper in a down ecconomy, the stored money becomes worth more.
Couple years ago, I put the money into 40 acres that came up for sale next door. Looks like a good move so far.
Right now, I'd be inclined to save it & see if some deal came up in the next 24 months.
Cash is king as others run out of the stuff, tremendous deals can be had.
Tho, if a deal came up on a machine shed, that is probably the next most badly needed thing 'here'.
