Subject: Barley and clover

We usually plant some barley to combine for feed. This year I’d like to put a small amount of clover seed in with it when we sow it to provide some diversity and free nitrogen. Anybody ever done this? What clover specie? I’m thinking about balansa or crimson. I don’t want to make trouble for the combine though.
