Had baseboard heating until this year. Ripped it all out and put in forced air elec furnace. Best thing I've ever did. No hot, cold spots with these new furnaces.

Geo don't pay unless you're running a shop too. Loacl electrician says it pays better to put the money into 2x10 or 2x12 stud walls instead of the standard 2x6 walls and then do geothermal. Put the money into thicker walls and more insulation and don't put in geothermal. A standard electric furnace is cheap and easy to fix.
