| I can agree that speed differential is import. The absolute speed of any vehicle is also important in that the higher the speed the greater the distance covered per second and the distance required to stop is greater also. Neither speed nor differential of speeds kill, but the greater each of those are the more that all drivers need to be at the top of their game so to speak to prevent and avoid accidents. For hundreds of reasons too few drivers or vehicles are any where near the top of their game (alert, experienced, in good mechanical condition...). | |
