Valley, NE | i have to agree with the SAC museum. the place is huge and absolutely awesome. Plus they keep it air conditioned for the hot weather we coming up next week. Also out here by Ashland is the Wildlife safari, I'm not much on it but my family seems to like to drive around and see a sorry looking lion and set of bears and the occasional elk from the car window. Mahoney State park has a big waterslide and pool complex out by ashland too.
Fun Plex at "70th and Q, dude " would have plenty of water festivities and rides if you're into that. And the Zoo has a new splash pad so if you go there, take the swim suits for the kids to cool off in the afternoon- it'll be busy fyi.
If you're really bored I'm only 15 miles west of town and there is always fence to fix....................
