Go farm - 6/20/2019 07:37 You have to understand radars are not "live." The radars scan the atmosphere in multiple angles. It takes the radar dish 4 to 7 minutes to complete and entire volume scan. .

5 minutes is close enough for me. I grew up in a time when the Country Guide monthly magazine forecast was the best we could hope for. It gave the general weather predictions for all of Canada for the next 30 days. Seems laughable now but at the time it was a big deal for the farmers receiving the latest Country Guide forecast.
