50 bu less with perfect weather from here to harvest. Less than perfect weather I don’t have to tell you the results. Lucky you didn’t plant in late May like many. 25% corn in December is a nightmare many have never experienced


Wet corn combines nice when it’s about 10 degrees.


I think you're optimistic on the yield. I'd guess 100 bushel less. USDA hasn't got a clue how bad this corn crop really is. I haven't traveled extensively, but talking to those that have, a good corn field is difficult to find, unless it was planted in June. Corn planted in April isn't knee high yet in many cases here.
