north west arkansas | We were wanting to try and 20' hog to see how we liked a 20' and run across a nice hx20. Anyway my son made the deal and went and picked it up today and it has the shredders style bottom instead of stump jumpers. We have two heavy duty 15' mowers to do rough stuff with and mainly just bought this for big wayne open flat pastures. Anyway is not having stump jumpers an accident waiting to happen? My first 15' didn't have them but that's been 20 years ago and it wasn't near as wide. Hate to spend what Deere wants for stump jumpers but yet don't want to trash the gear boxes because we don't have them either. Anybody with real world experience? This one has basically been used strictly for shredding cork stalks. | |
