+1. Tighten or loosen the screws on the slip clutches to make sure they work. They have a habit of rusting, then when they hit something they don't slip. Ask me how I know...$$$

Mine has jumpers. And I have been known to hit things in the pastures. But mine aren't level or clean either.

We tried to run it with a 6410. Not enough HP or weight. Runs with the 4455 MFWD or 8100 MFWD much nicer... It's a hog. Lots of tongue weight. Be careful where you unhitch it, you will find the jack buried in the dirt.

Edit HX20 here. Bought used, works fine. Mow pastures 1x, side ditches and around the barns couple times a year. Occasional cornstalk fields. No problems but swapping blades and frozen slip clutches. We run synthetic oil in gearboxes.
