This whole trend over the past decade to so that puts animals on the same level as humans is ridiculous.
Would agree to an extent, but I can't condone cruelty to ANY animal: domestic livestock, wild critter, or pets. And, yes, I've had plenty of livestock (mostly hogs) over the years, as well as plenty of pets (dogs AND cats), and I hunt.
