I remember dad telling me about that when he farmed with Grandpa, of how the neighbor tried to imitate their broken wobbly marker and instead ended up with a field that was unharvestable.
It was over a "well we got 30 more bpa than you do off that quarter". It didn't sit well knowing his new Deere equipment was being beat by a 930 and a IH planter of the same age.(1970s)
