North Central MO | I've used these on several projects up to an inch and never had a fail. Used brass fittings on a new house 10 years ago because I was afraid of plastic. Now that I've been into it for some mods I see the brass is collecting huge amounts of calcium deposits. The pex is clean as new. Maybe I should have used the plastic fitting???
My water may be different than others though with high calcium content.
