North of London | I bought the ratcheting type a number of years ago and have used it many times since on our house, shop and kids houses.
Only had 1 fitting fail and I was the reason as I was trying to crimp is a very tiny space and ended up on an angle.
Having to take one of those stainless steel bands off is not easy.
I have used mostly brass fittings but some plastic with no problems.
BTW get the cutter for the pipe too | |
