I've been wearing Wolverine boots for day-to-day work.  I was in Super Shoes one day this spring, and I saw these Rockport Northfield boots.  Super Shoes did not have my size in inventory, so I went to Amazon and bought a pair on-line.  It took some breaking in, but now I really like them.  They are lightweight.  I am using these for yard work, mowing grass, general outside around the house wearing. 

I also see they have the same style in an Oxford. I have not bought them, but I would expect the Oxford would be light-weight and comfortable as well.
