swMN | I've dealt with them since 1992, my mom worked for them back in the 1970s, back then it was Production Credit Association, ( PCA ) Then Farm Credit, then AgStar, now Compeer, only had 2 loan officers, the first died from cancer, current one since 2002. Never had a problem with them, int rates lower than 2 ,local banks. Now we want to build a house on a different place we own, mortgage guy sat our table , went through the numbers, said everything looks good, 2 weeks go buy and he calls me and says can't give you but one third of what you need, now this is a moderate size modular house, electric is there, well is there, fairly good area, own the acreage free and clear. Went to local bank and he said no problem.
