Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

Generally, all the snowmelt from the Bozeman area makes it into Lake  formed by the Garrison Dam. Some flows the long way around by Great falls and into Fort Peck Lake and if it starts out far enough east of Bozeman, it runs down the Yellowstone River and joins the Missouri in the general vicinity of the ND/MT border.
Mark Wilmer pumping station uses about 400,000 HP to pump 4,500 CFS 824' high as part of the project to water Phoenix and Tucson. This spring, Buster50 and I had occasion to visit the canal where the water dumped out after its lift. Since they had had quite a bit of moisture over the winter, the canal was nowhere near capacity when we visited.
