Made me think of the old commercial how cash is too slow and plastic is so fast. Seems every time I get in any store, some dummy can’t get the plastic to work. Doesn’t anybody use cash anymore?
Sometimes the chip gets a little dirty causing the chip reader to malfunction.
What irks me is the people who need to use 3 cards because each one is about maxed out.
