north dakota | I will not speak about the economic part because you didn't ask for it and I don't know what to say about that part. However I once was where you are know and it was really hard on me. We had retained our bred heifers and our neighbors had quit and we bought their's. We made quite a few much needed improvements over the summer months and fired back up in the fall. Worked out very well for us. It is no one's business what you do. If it doesn't work out you simply sell the cows again. It's a free country. Again I don't know your economics situation.
