I get so much better late season weed control with 15" rows it is no contest.

you drive around with a sprayer in 30"s and get huge 60" gaps where you run over a row. in 15"s you only get a 30". you can see this from the road very well, and you will see it
from the combine really well.

harvest is so much easier with 15" that alone would be enough for me.

before I switched I did one yield test with 3 separate reps all across a narrow row field alternating with narrows on each one with my 30"s. cut mine with my 653A row head. narrows beat me every time by 2.4, 3.6 and finally 5.2bpa. This was in a decent to good yielding year, field averaged middle 50's. I didnt need any more testing than that. been in 15"s ever since.
