If a person can drive a manual transmission does that make them more perceptive to the mechanical workings of a machine? Able to identify potential issues sooner?
I guess what I’m asking is if someone (kid) DOESN’T know how to drive a manual would you really want them driving a semi weighing 80,000#’s and have potential for repairs that could cost 5 figures?
