| Local community park is upgrading. Replaced the 40 yr old hall. Now they want to build a covered arena.
To me these things are good.
These things have been and are being done by donations. We have a frontier days every Labor Day. Except this yr it was changed to mid May. But got canceled due to weather.
Now the problem. People are questioning building a covered arena when we still don’t have the new hall finished. Also the moving of frontier days. Has been held on Labor Day for the last 70 plus yrs. I understand things change. However the park board says they welcome all community input, and that the park is owned by all paying members. So would being that it’s owned by all paying members make it not a community park ?
