Gauge wheels are like kidneys in humans, Having at least one good one is important. I probably lose 10 or 20 a year, if i lose both on the same unit then I’ll rob one from a unit that still has both wheels/arms. I much prefer losing them in corn because bean heads pick them up and they are awful hard on combines.
