Well, I needed a (sic) too. Went and checked, Mount Tambora eruption of 1815 is the most known Year Without a Summer. Though Krakatoa also caused issues and Pinatubo is within most of our lifetimes, though I don't remember then, 1991. Krakatoa is my favorite to say.
