Southeastern, IL | Just bought a new 635F last year. We priced a new FD 70 at the same time. They took a big price increase. At that time we could buy 2 JD for the one MacDon. I can see why you would need the draper for shatter. We actually ran our old auger head a couple of rounds then switched to the draper quick made a couple of rounds then went back to the auger head. We came back 1 month latter and counted the volunteer beans and noticed there was hardly no difference. The one thing i did like about the draper was in short DC beans it would work better in them because the reel is always close the the cutter bar. | |
