Our Group IV's down here mature in August when its 100 degrees plus, so shatter is always a problem for us. I haven't priced any new headers lately, but if they're twice the money, it would be tough to justify. Our draper is several years old now, but it wasn't twice the money when we got it. And it's much better than the 1020 it replaced!
