St George IL | This field was planted April 24th and the rest the 26th. Later corn on the left right before a cold rain forecast, but the ground was working too good not to plant. Same hybrid, same planter settings etc. It kind of throws water in the face of the experts that say to park the planter 24 hours before a cold rain event.
Personally I think the later just waited to germinate whilst the earlier took off and sealed its fate.
