Wait a second. You have a tractor, that is working 100% fine, and you want to delete the DPF?

LEAVE IT ALONE.

The DPF does nothing to hurt the engine. If the tractor was new enough to have DEF/SCR, that does nothing to hurt the engine as well.

I will take a wild guess and say you probably dont know how the emissions system on that 8R works. That's ok, its probably not your job to know. On the same hand, if you so desire to "delete it" to "make it better", then can you tell me what removing certain components will do to "make it better" and why?

Understanding cause and effect is important, especially the not so immediate effects of our actions.


I’d say in this conversation, you are the one that should do a little study of the DPF system .

At the least a DPF delete will create better economy , less downtime , and reduced fuel use .
