I fixed mine with it and it stuck. It was bondo brand I think and had the two deals you mix together with mesh. I did that about 5 years ago and it is still holding but I treat it like it is china. By the way does your 345 have the 18 horse motor?  If so have you replaced the nylon gear on the cam shaft that breaks at about 800 hours? I got to do mine last week.
