Nw Iowa | Agree redoak, if you lived thru the 80’s you understand what real deflation was. Hard to put it in today’s terms but I remember 600 hr 4440’s being worth about 1/2 of a new one. We were hit pretty hard here because Farm Credit got so aggressive, only thing that even kept the 4440’s at those levels was the truckloads that went to Texas. You could go to a farm sale just about everyday in the winter. | |
