SW Minnesota | Exactly, this is just can kicking down the road. This spring was a chance for carry outs to change, and those that listen to the market to benefit. Our crop here has gone in very poor, we are wet, and most have some corn to go and all there beans, so I’m not talking from a position of huge crop potential to benefit. It sucks. However This spring market was the one thing that gave me some long term hope. Maybe we could adjust carry out, maybe everyone wouldn’t shift corn acres to beans just plant a crop, and now we are being propped up again. This will be a band aid with a long hangover. The only hope is that it will get to the next weather event, however I’m afraid we will destroy our demand with price, over supply the market and destroy our price. Rinse, cycle, repeat. This does nothing long term but hurt. | |
