you most likely need the upper shift kit which is the pin and 3 castings in ur pic. I put several of them in now days, think I have one on shelf. have a tool made to pull pin from casting also.
not to say that the pin down low isn't hogged out and the hi, lo shift cover can be shot also. but for a very reasonable amount you can have that shifting like new and if you can change a tire you can fix urself....
