Some of my field roads have ruts where it's been so wet, or where the water has flowed downhill, that some places are a foot deep, but narrow enough to get a tire over to cross. I also have some pretty steep ones. Had to hook a chain to a tractor last fall pulling wagons up that road it was so wet and steep.
