At least it can be fixed easily. For less than a hundred bucks if you can find one
I cheated, the problem was the vehicle power cable was old from an Integra and only had the one Deutsch connector, but it had another 12v lead with a metripak style connector. I installed a weather pack connector on that 12v lead, and put the same on the second 12v lead on the can power cable exiting the tractor. I plan on replacing the fuse on that line with the same size as is on the other high current line for safety. Probably not the absolute best resolution, but I feel it should be safe. |
