Subject: Ag Leader Insight-waas-on New Holland T9030

Western-Central Lower Michigan
Problem is the auto steer engage is WAY too aggressive. Say I turn around at end of row, Get close to my AB line, hit engage and the tractor makes an immediate correction to the ab line. Not gradual at all. Im dragging around tillage equipment and it will flat bend shanks on a soil finisher if its in the ground.
I called the NH dealer and talked to his Auto steer GURU, about the steering valves, if they could be choked down. He said NO, the issue is in the auto steer.

In fact, if I am going across the end rows, and hit the engage button, this unit will engage and turn 90* and go on an AB line.

The ag leader insight is a pretty old unit, made back in the Day when Trimble and Ag Leader were sharing technology. In fact Trimble has a "clone" of this display, but I do not know the name so a trimble techie may have some idea about this also.

I found a menu where you could set the aggressiveness, it was set as low as it would go, Ill try it higher and see if it makes any difference.
