| That is the rub. You can only be allowed to make what the operation does. In fact I ask my self the same question and I own the place.
In town I see folks that think they do it all. Usually the ones telling me that do very little. They are sincere but haven't a clue. They are usually telling me they deserve a huge raise when I know for a fact they are losing the owner money.
Not saying this is the case here as I do not know you or your situation. I am saying be positive your assessment of the situation is correct and then realize there is a limit to what you can be paid.
The machinery you are running would make a huge difference also. If you are running new under warranty your labor is a lot less than if you are running( and repairing) a 750 Massey.
