ISO 120 ohm heavy duty resistor for a data bus I'm building.. kinda looking for those bulky heavy duty ones for ag use. Wheres a good spot to find them? And if the bus is short enough with only 2 or 3 nodes, do I need 2 resistors or can I just use 1?

What kind of wattage- hi or low- resistors do I need?

Thanks!

The CAN bus systems that I've worked with didn't require any HD resistors. The terminators just used standard 1/8 watt resistors. Later edit: I used 1/4 watt instead of 1/8 watt because they are easier to work with. Typically one on each end of the CAN bus but the display cable sometimes has one already built in so only one loose one is needed on the far end. I guess there wouldn't be anything wrong with using a HD resistor but I don't believe it should be necessary since the CAN bus is only used to transfer information around the system. Any "work" such as running ON/OFF valves, control valves or the like is handled by a separate high current pair of power and ground wires.
